Origin: lgc. Landing-place: terminal.
Lgc generates this progress message at verbosity level 4+ when it is about to compile all value definitions on a page being loaded. During compilation, all value definitions in the codex of the page are compiled into executable form and lgc hangs the generated code on the 'code' hook of the rack of the page. The codex of the page hangs on the 'codex' hook of the rack. Logiweb racks are similar to e.g. record structures in C. During first reading, the codex of the page is typically empty. In any case, the codex never contains value definitions during 1st reading, so compilation is a trivial step during 1st reading.
